Our dentists
Dental surgeons Gareth and Vernon Williams set up practice together in 1987 and now split their time between our family-orientated practices in Marlborough and Hungerford.
Gareth Williams B.D.S.
Originally from Anglesey, Gareth graduated in 1979 from Liverpool University and moved to Wiltshire in 1981. After working as an Associate and then as a Partner, he formed the Williams Dental Practice with his brother Vernon and moved into the current High Street location in 1997.
Gareth is married with four children and when not at the practice can be found cycling, dancing or double digging his allotment.
He has just finished working with the team to gain British Dental Association Accreditation, which has put the Williams Dental Practice in the top 20% of dental practices in the UK. General Dental Council number 53673.
Vernon Williams B.D.S.
Vernon qualified from Liverpool University in 1983. He stayed in the north west of England working in practices in Manchester and Cheshire before joining the Williams partnership in 1987 and opened the Hungerford practice in the same year. Vernon currently splits his time between the Marlborough and Hungerford practices.
Vernon is married with two children - the eldest of whom is currently training to become a dentist too. General Dental Council number 58238.

Stephanie Mulford
Practice Manager
Stephanie has 10 years' experience – qualified BTEC Dip Dental Practice Management 2008. She's a complete shopaholic and plays piano.
Dawn Pett
Receptionist
Dawn has 21 years' Experience. She enjoys eating out and travel, long walks and shopping.
Amanda Peck
Dental Nurse
Amanda has 6 years' experience – qualified NEBDN 2008. She enjoys spending time with family and is a keen horse rider. General Dental Council number 167417.
Kirsty Price
Dental Nurse
Kirsty has 8 years' experience – qualified NEBDN 2005. She is a keen horse rider and competes in competitions. General Dental Council number 131132.
Kylie Brinkworth
Dental Nurse
Kylie has 3 years' experience – qualified NEBDN 2011. She a 2nd DAN blackbelt in Karate! General Dental Council number 216892.
Sandra Williams
Dental Nurse
Sandra qualified NEBDSA 1991 and completed Certificate in Oral Health Education in 1992. She has many years' experience working in practices in Cornwall, London and Newbury. She is Cornwall born and bred and loves to visit whenever possible. General Dental Council number 130450.
Our hygienists
Our hygienists play a fundamental role in oral health care and regular visits to them is the key to achieving really successful preventative dental care.
Barbara McNie
Barbara first trained as a dental nurse, then developed her skills to become a dental therapist. After qualifying as a dental hygienist at Cardiff in 1989, Barbara moved abroad to work in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. She returned to the UK in 2001 joining the Williams Dental Practice in the same year. Barbara enjoys fine dining and travelling. General Dental Council number 3773.
Valerie Young
Val has worked with the practice since 2005. Before training at Birmingham Dental Hospital, Val worked for BA as part of their cabin crew and then as a medical secretary. She has two children and an active lifestyle that includes walking, skiing and sailing. General Dental Council number 2126.
Fiona Bradley
Fiona qualified as a hygienist in Cardiff and as a therapist in Liverpool. She lives locally and is a keen runner. General Dental Council number 4311.
Becks Tompkins
Becks qualified in Dec 2003 whilst working in the Army in Northern Ireland and Germany before joining us in 2006. She’s a shopaholic who lives in Gloucester and works in our Marlborough practice. General Dental Council number 6358.
The General Dental Council (GDC) is the organisation which regulates dental professionals in the United Kingdom. All dentists, dental nurses, dental technicians, clinical dental technicians, dental hygienists, dental therapists and orthodontic therapists must be registered with the GDC to work in the UK.

Kasia Nanowska B.D.S.
Kasia qualified after studying at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. She worked in London and at local practices before joining the Williams practice bringing with her valuable complementary therapy, acupuncture and homeopathy skills.
She is a dentist with special interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics and offers additional services from the Hungerford practice.
As part of her leisure time, Kasia enjoys dancing the Argentinian tango. General Dental Council number 73904.

Rainy has 17 years' experience – qualified NEBDN 1996. She comes from a horse racing family and enjoys coarse fishing. General Dental Council number 129193.
Mel Smyth
Dental Nurse
Mel has 11 years' experience – qualified NEBDN 2003. She enjoys music, socialising and travel. General Dental Council number 127516.

Nicky Smith
Nicky originally trained as a dental nurse before qualifying at Guy’s Dental Hospital as a dental hygienist in 1995. Nicky has been working with the Williams Dental Practice in Hungerford since qualifying. She uses some of her spare time learning French and cycling with her children. General Dental Council number 4837.
Valerie Young

Halina Gentilcore
Halina qualified as a hygienist at the Eastman dental hospital in London in 1994 and as a therapist from Bristol Dental Hospital in 2006. She carries out general restorative dentistry as well as periodontal therapy which she thoroughly enjoys.
Among her many hobbies are: mountain walking, horse riding, scuba diving, jogging and yoga. She also loves travelling and exploring new places. General Dental Council number 4739.
